NHL Agent Bites on New Technology

Rich Evans has been around the world of sports for quite a while. He’s seen just about everything when it comes to new inventions and has always been skeptical.
However, the founder of Points West Sports & Entertainment Inc has just discovered a new invention and it’s one he is now touting to NHL players he represents and other star players in other hockey leagues.
You see, Evans was recently fitted with a Pure Power Mouthguard (http://www NULL.ppmmouthguard NULL.com), a device designed to be more than just a mouth guard and one which increases balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion and endurance.
The leading NHL sports agent was fitted with a PPM at Dr. Robert Wageman’s (http://www NULL.timetosmile NULL.ca)office in Kelowna, BC. Dr. Wageman is a PPM Certified Dentist.
“While getting fitted for the device, Dr Wageman explained the science behind the PPM (http://www NULL.ppmmouthguard NULL.com), which I found fascinating,” says Evans from his office in Vancouver.
“When you understand how the human jaw works, and how its alignment is tied into other elements of the body, it just makes sense why the PPM is effective for athletes.”
So, how exactly does it work?
“The Science is based on the position of the lower jaw, when the lower jaw is in the right position it aligns the neck with the spine,” says Dr. Wageman.
“When the body is in a perfect erect position, you experience the above noted benefits. Unfortunately, 95% of the population is not in proper alignment.”
Dr. Wageman says that the proper alignment of the lower jaw, is defined, via a “tens” machine. “This machine relaxes the major muscle groups of the face, and thereby putting the jaw in a relaxed state. Once the right position of the jaw is found, it is captured with a bite registration material. This bite is then sent to a lab and incorporated into a re-positioning device (mouthpiece (http://www NULL.ppmmouthguard NULL.com)),” he says.
This special “bite” is the foundation of an athlete unlocking their true potential. Once the athlete bites into the PPM, the muscles in their face become completely relaxed, which allows them to use more of their upper and lower body strength.
Instant balance is achieved, because the lower jaw has come down and forward, thus allowing the neck to align it with the spine.
This is not a guard you can buy in a store. One has to get fitted by specially trained neuromuscular dentists like Dr. Wageman.
The PPM ranges from $500.00 to $2,000.00 in price.
Evans is now a true believer in the PPM.
“This new technology will give my clients an edge over other players – and at the NHL level, even a slight edge over your opponent will allow you to become a more effective player,” says Evans, who currently represents 14 NHL players, and whose client list also includes star players in major junior (WHL, OHL, QMJHL) as well as the NCAA, USHL, and European professional leagues.
Active with NHL (http://www NULL.ppmmouthguard NULL.com)players, he spends his downtime doing exercising with his PPM at the gym.
“I feel that the PPM gives me greater flexibility and tightens my core during exercises,” he says.
“There is no doubt about it, the PPM works and I am now advocating to my players to get one.”
There are currently over 300 professional athletes are using the PPM, with representation in Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Hockey League (NHL), the National Football League (NFL), and most sports in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As well, there are over 1,000 collegiate, Olympic and amateur athletes who have embraced the PPM phenomenon.
The inventor of the PPM is Dr. Anil Makka (http://www NULL.ppmmouthguard NULL.com)r, a Canadian dentist. Both Dr. Makkar and Dr. Wageman have studied extensively at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr. Wageman is a 1977 honors graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of Computerized Dentistry of N.A., Academy of General Dentistry and a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Sedation trained dentist through D.O.C.S. Education.
