The Golf Association of Ontario (GAO) announced today a new initiative developed with TTG CourseGuide, suppliers of the popular loyalty driven course guide books.

TTG will offer member clubs industry leading pricing on their program, and with every Ontario course signed up for 2011, they have committed to adopt an elementary school into the Callaway Golf for Kids (National Golf in Schools) program in the course’s name.

“We are very excited about this program at the GAO. Not only are our clubs able to take advantage of a great offer, but the Callaway Golf for Kids program will reach an additional 50 schools and 8,000 kids in 2011,” said Dave Mills, Executive Director of the GAO. “The program really drives home TTG’s commitment to the industry and will be a great way to connect our member clubs with schools in their area.”

Through this initiative TTG allows participating clubs the option to select a school in their area to be involved in the Callaway Golf in Schools program for 2011, and TTG will cover the entire enrollment fee ($475 per school). Ultimately, the program aims to then connect that school with the course to foster transition programs for those students. Whether it be through field trip opportunities, summer camps or lessons, or special junior deals at the club, the goal is to ensure that the students end up taking what they learn in the classroom back to the course.

“By supporting a program such as Golf for Kids, TTG is truly demonstrating their commitment to the future of our business,” said Chester Morin, Director of Golf at Mill Run Golf Course. “Not only that, but the Course Guide program is an essential part of our marketing plan year after year – it brings more golfers to the course but more importantly, keeps them coming back.”

This TTG/GAO program not only helps get more youth introduced to the game, but also provides member clubs with access to a valuable marketing tool. The immensely popular TTG CourseGuide is a yardage book and savings package that helps guide golfers through your course and also allows you to create a customized loyalty program including offers and discounts at your course (tee times, driving range, food and beverage, pro shop merchandise and more).

The Course Guide program allows clubs to reward their loyal customers and potential members and can be customized to meet your marketing needs. TTG also offers industry leading pricing and a per guide rate lower than any competitor on the market.
