Gaddafi Will Not Accept Exile Offer from Italy, Germany
Bloggers, World News — By Paul Fitzgerald on March 29, 2011 at 2:38 pmOn Tuesday March 29, 2011, Italy and Germany are expected to offer exile to Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.
This information came from Italy’s Foreign minister, Franco Frattini at a meeting arranged by France and England to prepare a “political and diplomatic” solution to the current strikes against Libya.
In an interview with journalist Ro Hurley and attorney Mitch Watkins from the Claims Resolution Tribunal in Zurich, Gaddafi’s attorney Giovanni Di Stefano emphatically stated, “I can tell you 100% that that is rejected is refused; Mr. Gaddafi is going nowhere. He will go nowhere. He will stay put.” He continues to say, “Colonel Gaddafi wishes to make it 100% crystal clear that no matter who offers him what, where, and when, he is not moving from Libya.”
